Responsibilities:
- Managing accounting staff such as assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and training as needed.
- Enhancing the performance as a team in terms of duration, punctuality, and the quality of output.
- Reviewing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Monitoring budget and expenses such as identifying areas where costs can be reduced or revenue can be increased.
- Preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Assisting with audits by providing documentation and answering questions from auditors.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements.
- Providing financial advice to upper management, such as recommending cost-saving measures or identifying areas where the company can improve its financial performance.
Qualifications:
1) Basic Requirements:
- Graduates or expected graduates of Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related field).
- Khmer native, with proficiency in both spoken and written English.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in General Journal and experience with Monthly Tax Declaration.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or relevant accounting software and tools.
- Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Logical and critical thinking skills.
- Sense of responsibility, punctuality, and honesty.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong motivation to develop business from the Accounting/Financial aspect.
2) Preferred Experiences:
- Experience in handling accounting tasks in the import/export business.
- Team management experience in the Accounting team.
- Experience in SMB (Small and Middle-sized Business).
- Exposure to working in different fields such as Sales and Marketing, Consultant, etc.
